Dermedic clinical trials facility
Dermedic is a dermatology outpatient clinic based in Ostrowiec Sw. This is a private health care provider specialising in dermatology and clinical trials (several areas of interest: dermatology/allergology/aesthetics medicine/diabetology/obesity/metabolic disorders).
We have a large patient database, including psoriasis, atopic eczema, acne, alopecia, vitiligo, aesthetic medicine (aesthetic fillers, botulinum toxin), diabetes and obesity. On top of that we have built a network of referring clinicians to improve recruitment.
Our clinical trials team consists of three full time dermatologists, two internists, diabetologist, three experienced study coordinators and three nurses. All members of our study team are fluent in English and have valid ICH-GCP certificates.
We provide quality, timeliness and effectiveness of conducted clinical trials. We have implemented a management system based on standard operating procedures (SOP). We guarantee a fast and accurate feasibility and contracting process.
Since 2016 we conducted 40 clinical trials, phases 2 and 3. We were a top recruiter in many of them. 9 audits (FDA, led by the sponsor, CRO’s or external companies) were conducted in our center; all with positive feedback.
FACIALITY FEATURES

- 3 consulting rooms, 2 surgery rooms (one with limited access)
- sample processing laboratory
- certified medical equipment neccessary for clinical trials
- 2 centrifuges, one with refrigeration, incubator
- security alarmed -20C, – 80C freezer and 3 drug storages (2-8 C), all equipped with thermometers
- scale, auxanometer, blood pressure monitors, thermometers, ECG
- fully equipped kitchenette and bathroom for the CRAs/sponsor’s visits/ audits
- access to a photocopier, scanner and fast wireless internet
- security monitoring, back up power supply
